Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the obtaining of the same result as produced by a multitype air conditioner, by a method wherein a device is constituted such that a set of an indoor unit is located in such a manner as causes it to pierce through a wall between 2 rooms, and the like and conditioned air is blown into only an optional room with a fan casing rotation.
CONSTITUTION: When a room A is air-conditioned, a fan casing 14 is rotated so that a blow-off unit 16 points toward a blow-off port 6 at the room A side. Air, which is blown into through inlet ports 4 and 5 from both rooms A and B with a fan 12 driven, is cooled by means of heat exchangers 10 and 11, and is blown off through a blow-off port 6 to air-condition the room A. In order to air-condition the room B, the fan casing 14 is rotated so that the blow-off unit 16 points toward a blow-off port 7 at the room B side, and air being cooled in the manner described above is blown off through the blow-off port 7 to air-condition the room B.
