Abstract
PURPOSE: To place a cutoff valve in the state of opening only when the pressure in a flow route is kept within the range set beforehand by a cam and a follower engaged in linkage.
CONSTITUTION: When a follower 17 is positioned on the circular-arc cam surface of a cam 22, a valve body 4 is dispaced to the right against the spring force of a spring 6 and separated from a valve seat 3, and a valve 5 is found in the state of opening. When the pressure of the valve 5 on the downstream side thereof is above the upper-limit pressure or below the lower-limit pressure, either of which is set beforehand, the follower 17 is put in the concavity of a cam 21, the valve body 4 is seated on the valve seat 3 by the force of the spring 6, and thus the valve is found in the state of closing. The angular displacement of the cams 21 and 22 dependent on the pressure on the downstream side of the valve 5 is not transmitted to a plunger 35 and thus the valve is forced into the state of closing. When the pressure of the valve 5 on the downstream side thereof is within between the upper-limit and lower-limit pressures, the follower 17, which is placed in the state of being put in the concavities of the cams 21 and 25, displaces an axis 23 through rotation and thereby the valve body 4 is separated from the valve seat 3.
