Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a lower portion of a resistance to be secured easily and economically by utilizing the weight of a filling material, by a method wherein the lower portion of the resistance is positioned between a riverbed protection at an upstream side and a noncurrent riverbed protection, and a filler is filled.
CONSTITUTION: In a place where a weir for riverbed is constructed, a bed-digging is carried out to extend in a given width in the direction of a river width, and a tilting steel stay 6 and an inclining support material 7 are mutually coupled together at the tops thereof by means of a bolt. Furthermore, steel connecting member 8 secured at the middle portions of the stay 6 and the support material 7 are abutted on to each other for coupling together by means of a bolt to form a pebbles flow resistance 3 made of steel. A base member 4, formed with a steel plate, is secured by welding on each lower end of the stay 6 and the support material 7. The inside of steel case frames 11AW11C, and concavities formed in respective cases 11AW 11C are filled with a filler 5, such as pebbles, available when the bed is digged.
