Abstract

PURPOSE: After application of an emulsion-type water-born adhesive, a substance having water-absorbing and phase-reversing activities is coated as an adhesion accelerator to develop the initial adhesion instantly and increase the adhesion operability.
CONSTITUTION: After application of (A) an emulsion-type water-born adhesion to a substrate, (B) an adhesion accelerator containing at least one of (a) a substance having water-absorbing properties, preferably a water-soluble high polymeric substance of polyacrylic acid derivative, (b) a substance reversing phases, preferably a surfactant, metal oxide or organic acid salt and (c) a thickener, preferably component a or water glass is coated thereon and the substrate is bonded. As a combination in component B, one of organic or inorganic salts and a nonionic water- soluble high polymeric substance or surfactant are preferred. The amounts of components A and B applied are 100/(0.05W5) at weight ratio and 50W300g/m2 on the solid basis.
