Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled two-pack type composition capable of providing a film having improved impact resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., comprising a specific polyhydroxy polyglycidyl ether compound and a curing agent consisting of a polyamine or organic polyisocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: The desired composition comprising (A) a mixture of (i) 15W 85wt% hydroxy glycidyl ether compound modified by a polyfunctional phenol, obtained by reacting a polyfunctional alcohol with an epihalohydrin, and 85W15wt% glycidyl ether compound of polyfunctional phenol which is modified by a polyfunctional phenol, or (ii) a polyhydroxy polyglycidyl ether compound having an epoxy equivalent 250W1,500g/equivalent and a hydroxyl number 30W800KOHmg/g, and a curing agent consisting of (B) a polyamine having one or more amino groups in a molecule or (C) an organic polyisocyanate having two or more isocyanate in a molecule.
