Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the increase in size of a control unit by the use of a small capacity memory by storing the photometric operation control commands necessary commonly to various photographing modes as a subroutine into the ROM.

CONSTITUTION: The selection of photographing modes such as shutter second time priority and aperture priority are decidied in a photographing information setting means 3 and a gate circuit 4, and sequence control commands are read out from the ROM5c of a control circuit 5 by accessing according to the photographing modes, whereby the operations such as photometry, exposure operation, exposure second time and aperture controlling are controlled. The photometric operation command to be reiterated a number of times commonly to the respective photographing modes out of these operations has been stored as a subroutine in the ROM5c, and the photometric value is digitally operated in the arithmetic circuit 8a via a measuring circuit 1, comparator 12, etc. by the control command common to each photographing mode and is stored in a register 8b. The reduction in the memory capacity of the ROM is achieved by this constitution and the increase in the size of the photographing control unit for both priority camera of shutter second time and aperture priority is prevented.
