Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve atmophere resistance and pressure resistance by making socket and spigot engagement of a die and a case and providing a sealing member between both.
CONSTITUTION: A recess 20 is provided to the side face of a die 2 joined with a semiconductor strain gauge 1 and the die is pressure-inserted into a case 3 formed with a projection 14 of the side face by way of a sealing member 15. As a result, the projection 14 and the recess 20 engage to form a kind of locking mechanism, whereby projecting of the die 2 from the case 3 is prevented and the sealing beteeen the die 2 and the case 3 is surely effected by the sealing member 15. The pressure acting in a suction pipe or exhaust pipe is led to the semiconductor strain gauge 1 via a pressure lead-in pipe 13 and the resistance change component of the semiconductor strain gauge 1 owing to the pressure difference with the atmopshere is converted to an electric signal, by the output whrerof the controlling of spark advance etc. of a fuel injection rate controlling electronic spark advance device is accomplished.
