Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the constitution of an electronic clock having functions of memorandum and display for it to be simple and compact by storing handwritten data in the memory through the adress detecting unit to display afterwards as well as alamr-displaying the data at a set time. CONSTITUTION:The address of the memorandum data written by external light, pressure or the like is detected by an address detecting unit 1. The memorandum data is written to a memory circuit 3 of a memory unit 2, and displayed on a memorandum display panel 6 according to need through a drive circuit 5. Simultaneously, the set alarm time solely corresponding to the data is written to a time memory circuit 11 of a horologic unit 7 thrugh an operating unit 12, and at the alarm time an alarm sound is produced by a speaker 28 though a coincidence circuit 10. On the other hand, the coincidence output of the circuit 10 passing through a selection circuit 4 becomes a read instruction by which the memorandum data in the circuit 3 solely corresponding to the alarm time is read out and alarm-displayed on the panel 6. Said function permits the constitution of the electronic clock having functions of memorandum and display to be compact and simple.
