Abstract
PURPOSE:To stop the paper and the like carried by a belt at the specified position; in the case an unexpected event happens while the motor is running, and the period during which the pulses for generating speed reducing signals are not overlapped has occured; by accelerating the motor by generating an accelerating signal during said period. CONSTITUTION:Reference pulses 1-12 are supplied to monostable multivibrators 11-22 by a decoder 10 which receives the code signals from the rotor of a motor, which is not shown. A speed reducing mechanism alpha reduces the speed of the motor by supplying the speed reducing signal A obtained from the pulses (a) and (b) through an AND circuit 31 to a motor driving mechanism 73 via an OR circuit 71. When an unexpected event has happened and the pulses (b) and (c) are not overlapped, an accelerating mechanism beta is actuated; a pluse b'' is sent out by a monostable multivibrator 52' which receives the pulse (b). The pulse (b'') is supplied to an AND circuit 52 together with an inverted signal pulse (c') obtained from the pulse (c) by an NOT circuit 52''; and an accelerating signal B is sent out. The accelerating signal B is supplied to the motor driving mechanism 73 via an OR circuit 72.
