Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling of damper winding conductors and a short bar by a method wherein penetrating holes for connecting the damper winding conductors by the short bar of damper winding are formed in dimensions larger than the sections of the damper winding conductors. CONSTITUTION:Penetrating holes for connecting damper winding conductors 3 are formed to a short bar 4 of damper winding. The sections of the penetrating holes are made up in dimensions larger than the sections of the damper winding conductors 3 in such a manner that the sections of the damper winding conductors are brazed so that crescent ventilating grooves 5 be formed to the side portions of the sections when the sections are oval. Thus, a wind can be passed through the ventialting grooves 5, and the cooling of the damper winding conductors 3 and the short bar 4 can be improved.
