Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and precisely assemble articles for a microwave electron tube by performing parts-to-parts, half-assembled parts-to-half-asembled parts and parts- to-half-assembled parts positioning by means of a positioning pin. CONSTITUTION:Into a hole 5 formed in a parts 1' is fixed a positioning pin 4. While a long hole 6, which has a width sufficient to receive a pin 4 and a proper length in the direction shown by the center line A'-A', is provided in a parts 2, which is fixed on the parts 1. Thus, the relative posioning of both parts 1', 2 are attained by the meshing of the pin 4 with the long recess 6. With the above constitution, even if expansions of the parts 1', 2 occur, the positioning is performed as the pin 4 can be moved along the long recess 6. It is preferrable for the pin 4 to use a material whose properties (particularly, thermal expansion coefficient) is same as that of the parts 1' into which it is fixed.
