Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve cooling effect of an air conditioner by intermixing cooled air in a car room partly with outside air during a cooler mode by outside air introduction and to further improve the cooling effect during another cooler mode by inside air introduction. CONSTITUTION:If an inside and outside air change-over lever is operated to bring an inside and outside air change-over damper 9 to a full line position, outside air can be introduced in through an outside air inlet port 7 in its open position. If a control switch 26 of a blower 6 is then in its high speed position Hi or in its medium position Me, a magnet value 22 is energized to open through a cooler switch 23, a cooler mode switch 24 and so on, so that negative pressure of a suction pipe is introduced to a diaphragm 13. As a result, an auxiliary damper 11 operates a link 12 to open an auxiliary inside air inlet port 10 so that cooled air B1 in a car room is partly intermixed with air outside the carm room. By the construction, cooling effect can be improved when compared with the case of entire introduction of outside air.
