Abstract

PURPOSE: To relieve the fatigue of a worker by applying vibration to the tip of lead of a writing means for correction to enable correction even with little skill.
CONSTITUTION: Lead 1 is supported by lead holder 2 and held by pencil shaft 3 through elastic bodies 4, 5. Permanent magnet 6 is fixed to the head of holder 2, and electromagnet 7 is placed opposite to magnet 6. Electromagnet 7 is fixed to shaft 3. By supplying an electric current to electromagnet 7 through cord 9 and connector 8, magnet 6 generates vibration to electromagnet 7, and this vibration is transmitted to lead 1. The vibration is not, however, transmitted to shaft 3, and it is efficiently transmitted to lead 1 alone. Thus, the mental and physical fatigue of a worker is relieved in special art such as the correction of a photographic negative requiring high-degree skill and delicate attentiveness.
