Abstract
PURPOSE:To smoothly discharge a heat softening substance of high temp. by covering a trough with carbide cermet or nitride cermet. CONSTITUTION:A trough made of iron, stainless steel or the like is covered with carbide cermet or nitride cermet. As the carbide cermet, nickel graphite type cermet such as WS-Ni or TiC-Ni or cobalt graphite type cermet such as WC-Co is preferably used, and boron nitride or the like is preferably used as the nitride cermet. The sectional form of the trough is V, U or the like. it is not necessarily required to cover the whole surface of the trough with carbide cermet or nitride cermet, and a trough face to which a heat softening substance contacts in use is at least covered.
