Abstract

PURPOSE: To completely automate conveyance between machines, through a simple construction, by utilizing straight motion caused by conveying motive power through a rack and a pinion to correct the posture of parts in a conveyor at a parts assembly plant or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A slider 1, which is guided on a reference frame 14, is fitted with a pinion 4 which is engaged with a rack 3. The rack is reciprocated togedther with the slider 1 and collides at a motion end against a movable member 8 coupled with a spring 11. When the rack 3 is stopped and but the slider 1 is moved further, the pinion 4 is rotated to revolve a column 15 which holds parts. Since an angle collision pin 9 bumps against screws 16, 17, the revolution of the holder 15 is restricted to properly set the position of the parts.
