Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the disturbing signal in the first mixer dependent upon leakage of the second local oscillation for input of an image frequency, by using filters to eliminate leakage of fundamental wave components or the second higher harmonic components of the second local oscillation frequency into the first mixer. CONSTITUTION:The second higher harmonic components of f2 generated by the second local oscillator are eliminated by filter 10 provided between the second mixer 6 and the second local oscillator 8, and fundamental wave components of f2 are eliminated by filter 11 provided between the second intermediate frequency amplifier 4 and band stop filter 5, and further, the second higher harmonic components of f2 are eliminated by filter 10 provided between the first mixer 2 and band-pass filter 3, so that leakage of fundamental wave components or the second higher harmonic components of f2 to the second mixer into the first mixer 2 can be attenuated to suppress generation of the disturbing signal for input of the image frequency.
