Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate detection of the time when a burner tip is to be replaced, by converting a signal relating to the ignited times of a burner and a signal relating to the burner operating time respectively into signals relating to the quantity of service life, composing the above two signals relating to the quantity of service life, and thereby detecting the quantity of service life of the burner tip.
CONSTITUTION: Ignited times of burner 1 and its operating time are detected by affording signals indicating opening and closing of a fuel stop valve 2 to an ignition counter 4 and an operating time counter 5, and integrating the outputs of these counters 4, 5. That is, outputs of these counters 4, 5 are converted into signals 10, 11 relating to consumption of the service life of the burner tip respectively by means of function generators 8, 9. These two signals 10, 11 are added in adder 12 and provide a signal 13 indicating consumption of the service life of the burner tip. This signal 13 is displayed at indicating means 17 and also indicated as an alarm signal 16 at the indicating means 17 through comparison of the signal 13 with a signal 15 relating to a preset service life of the burner tip in a comparing and alarming means 14.
