Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce cogging, to increase magnetic flux density and to increase torque by a method wherein a permanent magnet is provided on a rotor and a stator and the whole surface of the stator or the rotor opposing each other with a gap is magnetized. CONSTITUTION:On a cylindrical yoke 7, in which a rotating shaft is passed through, a rotor is consisted by providing a bipolar ring-type permanent magnet 8 for example, and a stator is consisted of a core 9, a coil 10 and a yoke 11. The core 9 has a rotor inserting hole 9a and a plurality of slots 9b, and the whole surface opposing to the permanent magnet 8 is magnetized. After the coil 10 is wound on the inside of the slot 9b, the yoke 11 is inserted on the peripheral surface of the core 9 and the slot 9c is closed. And, a cogging is suppressed at the minimum by selecting a proper ratio of magnetic reluctance of two magnetic paths 16a and 16b of magnetic flux generated at the permanent magnet.
