CONSTITUTION:A material such as a metal, ceramics or the like is molten by oxygen-acetylene or hydrogen flame, and sprayed through a nozzle onto the surface of the die thereby to form metal coatings having further smaller projections and recessions on the above described projections and recessions themselves of a certain roughness. A thermoplastic resin introduced in the metal mold is shaped by rough projections and recessions on the metal mold. However, in contracting by being cooled, the molded article in a semimolten state undergoes sheating by the microscopic projections and recessions of the metal mold, and also undergoes an action such as scratching on the surface of the formed article. Therefore, the delustering effect becomes large.
