Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply the sludge in hopper equally at a fixed rate in a device of discharging and supplying the sludge in hopper with pushers etc., by so constituting the device that sludge transfer volume becomes larger on the stage nearer to the exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:In the device of discharging the sludge in a hopper 1 to a discharge port 2 with 3 stages of pushers 4a-4c (or conveyors, etc.) and supplying the same to a predetermined device, the pushers 4a-4c are so constituted that their heights h1-h3 become successively higher, namely, the pressing areas of the respective pushers become successively larger than those of the previous stages. When the pushers 4a-4c are moved simultaneously to the exhaust port 2 side by the pressure P via the links 6 connected to the pushers, the sludge 3 moved for a longer distance at it is nearer to the exhaust port 2, thus the sludge may be discharged at a fixed rate from the entire part of the hopper 1 without forming piles of the sludge in the upper part of the discharge port 2 in the hopper, unlike with conventional devices.
