Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition suitable for a molded article having excellent surface processability and high plate adhesion and thermal stability, by adding a II-group metal salt to a specific polyoxymethylene copolymer containing a cyclic ether or oxymethylene group as a comonomer.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyoxymethylene copolymer having a melt index of 1.0W30g/10min at 190°C and composed of 0.5W2.0mol% of a cyclic ether or an oxyalkylene having at least two adjacent carbon atoms and 99.0W98.0mol% of oxymethylene or trioxane and (B) 2W25pts.wt. of a II-group metal carbonate, phosphate, acetate or their mixture (pref. calcium carbonate) having an average particle diameter of 0.1W4.0μ, at ≤250°C under melting.
