Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve substantially workability of a travelling body, by giving out or receiving an actuation signal for the travelling body such as stacker crane, etc. in an automated warehouse from a command unit fixedly installed along the travel line and remote-controlling the travelling body through a memory storage. CONSTITUTION:For loading a load 22 taken out of a shelf 2 onto a loading base 3 using a stacker crane, an actuation signal is output from a central command unit 7 and it is transmitted from a transmitter 11 of a travelling body and it is also stored in a memory storage 12. When transmission of the actuation signal is finished, a prescribed end signal is trasmitted, and in response to this signal the memories in the memory storage 12 are regenerated. On the other hand a present position of the travelling body 5 is detected by a detector 13 and its signal is input to an actuation control section 14. The actuation control section 14 compares actuation signals with information on positions and outputs a signal to move the travelling body 5 to the operation section 15, so that both the actuation signal and the psotion information watch. When the travelling body 5 reaches a prescribed position, the control section 14 reads work steps from the memory storage 12 and analyse them into work patterns of the travelling body 5 and outputs them to the operation section 15.
