Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain high print quality by maintaining the state of printing type selection until switch operation is performed in an electronic equipment with a printer that can print out on a print form set in the electric equipment and also on any print form.
CONSTITUTION: At a printing type position where print is to be done, the magnetic force of magnetic-flux converting members 14 and 15 are weakened by feeding coil 18 with electric power, and consequently printing type selection pawl 12 is released from members 15 and 16 by the force of spring member 14 to make the tip part of pawl 12 engate with the groove of positioning member 11 of type wheel 6, thereby stopping a printing type to be printed at the print position. Then, the state of the printing type selection is maintained until switch operation is performed. Consequently, high print quality can be obtained.
