CONSTITUTION: First, contents set in print positioning register PPR13 are compared with current position information of the carriage set in current position register CPR13. When CPR<PPR is confirmed, the carriage is fed to the position indicated by PPR8 to perform print. Otherwise, in case of CPR=PPR, print is performed. Meanwhile, in case of CPR>PPR, the value obtained by adding contents of PPR8 to the value of print length register PLR201 is compared with the value set in CPR13. If the value of CPR13 is larger, the carriage is fed to the position indicated by (PPR+PLR); and when the carriage reaches the position indicated by (PPR+ PLR)=CPR, print is performed. Meanwhile, in case of PPR+PLR>CPR, the comparison operation is continued furthermore.
