Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned copying paper for which the color-fading of a developed character is prevented and which has a printing aptitude by employing phenolic resin and acid terra alba together as a developer, calcium carbonate as a pigment, and PVA and the like as an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:Phenolic resin (preferably paraphenyl phenol resin) and active terra alba (preferably the acid terra alba or the like from which an acid-soluble basic constituent is melted out and whose surface area is turned to be 200m<2>/g or more) are employed together, preferably in the weight ratio of 1:1-5, as a developer, while calcium carbonate being used as the main ingredient of a pigment, and polyvinyl alcohol and styrene-butadiene latex as an adhesive agent. On the occasion, PVA is used, preferably, in 30pts.wt. or more, in particular, in 50-200pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of phenolic resin. It is coated on the substrate paper and thus the aimed no-carbon copying paper is obtained. EFFECT:Copying paper thus obtained suffers little yellowing from sun light and nitrogen oxide.
