Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Rotary pulse generator 1 which transmits two pulse signals having a certain phase difference is connected to crank shaft 7 of the press slide via elastic coupling 8. And generator 2 which generates the time pulse of a certain frequency is provided, along which time counting circuit 3 which counts the pulses supplied from generator 2 with the conditions under which the two pulse signals are transmitted seccessively after transmission of the drive stop signal of the press slide and which stops the time counting due to the wrong transmitting order of the two pulse signals. Then the time from the stoppage of driving of the press slide to the actual stoppage is detected.
