Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the detection of the racing of induction motors, by detecting the phase currents of the motors, comparing the detected current values with a prescribed reference value and generating a racing detection signal.
CONSTITUTION: The phase currents of motors 6W9 are detected by current transformers 10W13. The detected current values are compared by comparators 15W18 with a reference value applied by a current comparison reference pattern generator 14. When the detected current value becomes lower than the reference value, a racing detection signal is produced. A slip frequency value set by a slip frequency setting bias means 1 is lowered by the outputs of the comparators 15W18 to reduce the osicillation frequency of an inverter main circuit 5.
