Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a true bearing detector free from drift and highly resistant against disturbance such as vibration by providing a gyro for detecting the angular velocity, an azimuth gyro, an output transmitting mechanism for effectively combining the two gyros together and the like.
CONSTITUTION: The detector consists of a bearing setting mechanism G1, an angular-velocity gyro G2, an amplifier G3, an azimuth gyro G4, an initial bearing setting mechanism G5 and the like. At the time of initial setting, the output of the amplifier G2 is connected to the side of a path I by a change-over connecting means. On the other hand, even though the angular velocity gyro G1 is supported by a horizontal stabilizing mechanism 4, the influence of the swinging of a moving body or the like is large and the noise is liable to be overlapped on the output signal. To reduce the influence during normal operation, the response of the azimuth gyro G4 is set to be low. In addition, since the azimuth gyro G4 is designed to follow up the angular velocity detecting gyro G2, impulsive noise components are absorbed, a stable instruction is obtained, and the drift of the azimuth gyro G4 is corrected by the angular velocity detecting gyro G2.
