Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the writing and erasing of a thermo-sensitive recording sheet by using two kinds of fillers having particular particle sizes respectively as fillers combined in a thermo-sensitive coloration layer. CONSTITUTION:A mixing filler consisting of a filler having less than 0.1mu of mean particle size and a filler having 1-10mu of mean particle size which are combined at a ratio of 1:10-10:1 by weight ratio, is used. In other words, a colorless or a light color coloration substance (a leuco dye), a developed substance allowed to develop the color of said coloration substance in heating (a phenol substance), said mixing filler and other additives are mixed in a combined agent. This is coated on a supporter and dried. Thus the thermo-sensitive coloration layer is formed as the thermo-sensitive recording sheet. Further, as fillers, such an inorganic filler as alumina, barium carbonate or the like and such an organic filler as polyethylene powders, nylon powders or the like are used.
