Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight of a pump and enhance its productivity, by dividing a piston housing into three portions by surfaces perpendicular to a center shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A pump housing 1 is composed of a right portion 2, a central portion 3 and a left portion 4. The conjoined surfaces of the housing portions 2, 3, 4 are made perpendicular to a center shaft 5. According to this constitution, pump units 7A, 7B, drive shafts 10A, 10B, a port block 26A, etc. can be inserted in the same direction when a pump is assembled. This results in facilitating the assembly and enhancing the productivity. Since the two pump units are compactly contained in the common housing, the size and weight of the whole pump are reduced.
