Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily and economically perform discharge of in-furnace coke at the repairing of a blast furnace by inserting a portable loader and a portable conveyor through the blast furnace tuyere and discharging the in-furnace coke by the cooperative operations of both.
CONSTITUTION: In order to perfectly discharge the coke in a blast furnace to outside the furnace at the time of repairing the blast furnace, the coke is discharged extremely easily and economically by using tuyeres without opening any hole by exploding the barrel part. The 1st arm 1, the 2nd arm 2 and the bucket 3 at its end of a portable loader 4 are inserted through the tubyere 6A and the coke is scraped off by these. The coke is then placed on the conveyor 9 of a portable conveyor 7 inserted through the tueyere 6B and is thereby discharged to outside the blast furnace. The root end of the 1st arm 1 of the portable loader is made turnable around the axial line and the root end of the 2nd arm 2 is mounted vertically turnably to the front end of the 1st arm 1. At the same time, the bucket 3 is mounted freely turnably to the end of the 2nd arm, whereby the scraping off of the in- furnace coke is made perfect and easy.
