Abstract
PURPOSE:To correct the coiling peculiarity of a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel plate to give it a high flatness by a procedure in which a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel plate is subjected to a high-temperature finishing annealing, passed through a leveler consisting of plural rolls,and then treated by a tension annealing. CONSTITUTION:A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel plate coil is subjected to a finishing annealing at a high temperature of 1,100 deg.C or more, and then the steel plate 1 is released out of coil, removed its separating agent coated before annealing, and then passed through a leveler consisting of plural upper and lower rollers 2 and 3 10-200mm. in diameter to eliminate its coiling peculiarity. Then, the steel plate is coated with an insulating coat liquid and then subjected to a tension annealing at approx. 750 deg.C to give it a high flatness and also to bake the insulating coat. Thus, an electromagnetic steel plate having excellent flatness can be exactly manufactured.
