Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify forming a bearing part which is smooth on the surfaces by making holes in a metal material with use of an arrow for header machining of good rounding precision.
CONSTITUTION: An arrow 8 is finished to a surface precision of not greater than 8μ, this arrow 8 is thrusted to one end of a metal material 1 to cave in and form a hole, thereby forming a pivot bearing part 7. In this occasion, since the surface precision of the arrow 8 for head machining is substantially transferred to the surface 7a of the bearing part 7, the surface 7a can be finished into a smooth surface.
