Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit a moving object to be detected which reaches a predetermined position within a predetermined stroke from said predetermined position by making position detecting signal hold only second set pulse number corresponding to the predetermined stroke.
CONSTITUTION: Rotational amount of a feed shaft 22 corresponding to shift amount of a moving object, slide table 18, is detected through a gear coupling 49 by a rotary encoder 50. Feed amount of the slide table 18 is detected by a limit detecting circuit 52 in response to the output of the rotary encoder 50 to send the output to a machine sequence circuit. In RAM68 of said limit detecting circuit 52 are stored the first set pulse number corresponding to control change-over position and the second set pulse number corresponding to a predetermined stroke number in which limit signals LS1WLS4 of position detecting signals are held corresponding to the respective control change-over positions when the slide table 18 reaches the respective control change-over positions.
