Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep input to a receiver constant by intermittently operating an intermittent operation type AGC circuit when the input has become equal to or higher than a specified level with n scans among basic operation periods according to N time scans. CONSTITUTION:To output of a goniometer system 2 is transmitted to a receiver 3 and a signal processor 4. The output of the receiver 3 is transmitted to an A/D converter 5 and its output is transmitted to the signal processor 4 and a level judging circuit 6. An intermittent operation type AGC circuit 10 is composed of the level judging circuit 6, a pulse generator 8, a counter 7 and an attenuation controller 9. Receiving the output of the A/D converter 5, the level judging circuit 6 judges the output level of the goniometer 2 inputted to the receiver 3 and controls the input level of the receiver 3 transmitted from the goniometer 2 to the receiver 3 when the output level has become a certain specified value.
