Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced picture which is free from the jumping of the track, by controlling the 1st rotary head with the control signal showing the direction of the track's shift and then controlling the 2nd rotary head with the 1st control signal and the fixed control signal added together. CONSTITUTION:In the slow, still and fast reproduction of modes of the VTR each, the fixed pattern signals according to each reproduction mode as well as the signal obtained through synchronous wave detection 16 with the wobbling signal are applied to integral adder 17 consisting of adder circuit 18 and delay circuit 19. And the output of adder 17 is applied to piezoelectric element 8a to which the 1st rotary head 9a is attached in the form of the drive control signal. Then the voltage of DC difference voltage generating circuit 23 corresponding to the track pitch according to each reproduction mode is applied to the control signal and then supplied in the form of the drive control signal to piezoelectric element 8b to which the 2nd rotary head 9b is attached. In this way, the perfect automatic tracking is possible, and furthermore the jumping of the track which affects badly the reproduced picture can be eliminated.
