Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the accurate and deep positioning of the upper ice cream layer of a multilayered ice cream composed of an upper and a lower ice cream layers, to make a distinct boundary between the two layers, and to improve the appearance of the ice cream, by forming a dent to the lower ice cream layer in a container with an indentation tool, and filling the dent with the upper ice cream layer.
CONSTITUTION: The inner surface of an ice cream container 3 is covered with corn sugar 4, and the container is charged by conventional method with a definite amount of ice cream 1 for the lower layer. The lower ice cream 1 is pressed with an indentation tool having the shape of the upper ice cream layer to form a dent, which is filled by conventional method with a definite amount of ice cream to form the upper ice cream layer 2. To prepare an ice cream having three or more layers, the indentation with the tool and filling to the dent are repeated. The ice cream prepared by this process is composed of an upper and a lower layers wherein the upper layer enters deep and accurately into the center of the lower layer, and the boundary between the lower and the upper layers is clear and beautiful.
