Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a detection circuit from being deteriorated and a battery from being consumed by applying current to a liquid level detection electrode instead of removing it, detecting the charge in this flow-in current, and detecting the liquid level. CONSTITUTION:A diode D1 for inverse flow prevention is inserted between a liquid level detection electrode DE and a resistor R1 in the direction where current is prevented from flowing from the detection electrode DE to a detection circuit. A resistor R5 is connected between the plus end of a power supply and the base of a transistor T3 and a circuit which applies current to the detection electrode DE is formed through the resistor R1 and the diode D1. The change in the current (i) applied to the detection electrode DE is detected by the PNP type transistor T3.
