Abstract

PURPOSE: To synchronize speed of a travelling body with that of an article conveyer belt to prevent error of supplying pirn thread to a magazine by obtaining a drive source for the article conveyer belt on the travelling body from travelling wheels thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A drive for an article conveyer belt 5 conveying an article 3 mounted on a travelling body 1 is obtained from rotation of travelling wheels 11 of the travelling body 1. However, the wheels 11 are not related to a travell drive motor 12 for the travelling body 1. In this construction, the number of intermediate sprockets or gears is set to make the travelling direction of the belt 5 opposite to that of the travelling body 1. The number of teeth of sprocket and gear is adjusted to make the rotational speed of the wheels 11 equal to that of pulleys 24, 25, the travelling body 1 and the belt 5 will travel in the opposit direction with same speed. Thus, since the article 3 is kept on the stationary position even if the travellin body 1 advances, the belt 5 can supply the article 3 to a predetermined position in a magazine 7.
