Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the running stability and facilitate the maintenance inspection by arranging devices requiring maintenance, such as DC generator and compressor under the floor while light devices such as evaporators and fans on the ceiling of the body in the air conditioner being driven by DC current. CONSTITUTION:Under the floor of the vehicle, located are the DC motor 2, the compressor 3 and the refrigerant condenser 4, the induction generator 5 driven by the DC motor 2 and the capacitor 6 adapted to impart self-exciting capacity while improing the power factor of load current. The refrigerant condensed by the condenser 4 is sent to the evaporator 7 provided on the ceiling of the body through the piping 10 to cool air and circulated through the inside of the room with the fan 9 driven with the induction generator 5 provided on the ceiling. The arrangement of the light devices to be mounted on the ceiling does not necessitate the major modification of the body thereby maintaining the running stability while the location of those devices requiring maintenance and inspection located under the floor facilitates necessary checkings.
