Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent accidents including rolling over of an automobile with a warning to the driver forecasting the approach to the hazardous condition based on the type of vehicles and the load while the vehicle is running on the curved roads. CONSTITUTION:As soon as the vehicle enters the curve, the pendulum element 18 is oscillated as shown by the chain line receiving the centrifugal force of the component force which is proportional to the square of the running speed and corresponds to the curvature of the curve. With said action, the permanent magnet 19 of the pendulum element approaches the lead switch 12 of the fixed member 6. Consequently, the switch 12 is closed to turn on the buzzer giving a warning to the driver. In such an arrangement, the fixed members 6 and 7 are properly moved by the operation of the knob according to the limit value of the centrifugal force to secure the stable running of the vehicle. Through the adjustment of the position of the lead switches 12 and 13, warnings can be obtained according to the type of the vehicles thereby preventing rolling over accidents.
