Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate such special effects as the magnification, reduction, revolution and the like of the TV picture, by switching selectively the output of the memory means or the switching means to the output of the A/D converting means and then supplying the output to the arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION:Picture signal B applied to terminal 41 is converted into the digital signal through A/D converter 42 and then applied to switching circuit 43. Circuit 43 usually selects the output of converter 42 to supply it to arithmetic circuit 44. Circuit 44 makes the signal pass with angle O of rotation, i.e., with no rotation to picture B, and then writes picture B into memory 45. The area corresponding to the part to which picture A is fitted selects the output of memory 35 through circuit 43; while the picture which it turned at circuit 44 with a fixed angle of rotation is delivered to be written into memory 45. The output of memory 45 is read out in the fixed timing and then applied to D/A converter 37 via switching circuit 36. And the picture signal turned again to the analog signal is delivered through terminal 38.
