Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the axial ratio compensation without giving any modification to the intermediate frequency circuit and others, by selecting one of the memory elements based on the presumed identification value of the 2nd data obtained by the detection signal of the 2nd polarized wave and then subtracting this value from the 1st data. CONSTITUTION:The detection signal of the 2nd polarized wave supplied through terminal 101 is converted into the presumed identification value of the 2nd data through preidentifying circuit 1. This identification value controls signal line selector 34 in memory circuit 3, and one of memory elements 30-33 which is proper to the presumed identification value is selected to be connected to the subtraction terminal of subtractor 20. Then the detection signal of the 1st polarized wave is applied to the subtracted terminal of subtractor 20, and then the value connected to the subtraction terminal is subtracted in the form of the interference component. Thus the pure 1st data with the interference component eliminated is obtained at the output of subtractor 20. This output is applied to final identifying circuit 21 to obtain the correct presumed identification value for the 1st data the reception of which is desired.
