PURPOSE:To obtain a film free of sag and wrinkle by a method wherein the inflated film of thermoplastic resin having undergone bubble forming is folded while being kept in contact with the inside surface of a cylindrica body of soft sheet and then taken up through a slit. CONSTITUTION:A tubular film 1 having undergone bubble forming is folded into flat shape while being kept in contact with the inside surface of a cylindrical body 3 of soft sheet the top end thereof is suspended by a folding device 2 consisting of two flat plates capable of opening and closing freely. It is necessary that the soft sheet can deform in correspondence with the folding action. The length of the cylindrical body 3 is preferably 2-5 times as large at the flat width of the tubular film 1, and the gap of a slit 4 of the folding device 2 is preferably 10-50mm..
