CONSTITUTION: The salts of hexamethylenediammonium adipate (66) and hexamethylenediammonium terephthalate (6T) and the substantially equimolar mixture of p-phenylenediamine and terephthalic acid (PT) are used so that the composition comes inside the tetragonal zone connecting four points A (60, 0, 40), B (40, 40, 20), C (40, 55, 5) and D (90, 0, 10) in the triangular coordinates (66, 6T, PT) in %. The resultant composition is melt-polymerized and melt-spun into copolyamide fibers.
