Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the discharge of liquid-droplets, and to obtain an excellent printing picture by a method wherein a partition wall is formed between an inner wall of a liquid feeding tank made up as a body of revolution and a shaft, and a liquid feeding section is formed at the one side of the partition wall. CONSTITUTION:The liquid feeding tank 7 formed as a body of revolution is divided into two tanks 15, 16 by a partition wall 9 formed between an inner wall of the tank 7 and the shaft 8, and ink is supplied into the tanks 15, 16 up to an overflow sensor 12 from an ink supplying port 10. When the ink is supplied to a recording head from a feeding port 11 and the surface of a liquid drops, signals are forwarded to a rotor 13 from the sensor 12, the tank 7 is turned in the arrow head direction, the ink in the tank 15 is pushed up by the wall 8 and the surface of the liquid is elevated. When the ink overflows the shaft 8 and flows into the tank 16, the rotor 13 is stopped by signals from the sensor 12. When the rotation and stoppage is repeated and the tank 7 is turned by a quarter, signals are transmitted to the rotor 13 by means of a revolution number indicating projection 14, the tank 7 is turned by 3/4 of one turn and the ink in the tank 16 is used.
