Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to record the change in load characteristics due to a system failure and the secular characteristic change, by a method wherein the voltage, current and frequency deviations of load are once stored in a buffer memory and then recorded on a magnetic tape or the like. CONSTITUTION:The voltage and currents from an electric power system, inputted through auxiliary CTs, auxiliary PTs and low-pass filters LPF, are sampled by means of an analog scanner As in a time-division manner and stored in a buffer memory 22 through an A/D converter 21. The frequency deviation detecting part 24 detects the frequency deviation per cycle, while the starting deciding part 25 detects the voltage and frequency changes for starting recording. According to the instructions from the starting deciding part 25, the recording part 3 records the data transferred from the buffer memory 22 on a memory 31 through an interface 32. Thereby, complicated load fluctuations in the electric power system and complicated load conditions of large users can be made clear.
