Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure the density of fluffs of cloth easily and quantitatively, by putting a mold frame on the fluff surface of cloth and by filling and hardening resin to form a resin molded material and by producing a resin sample piece containing fluffs from the cloth part.
CONSTITUTION: Cloth 2 having fluffs 1 is put on stand 3 so that the fluff face is the surface, and cylindrical flask 4 having required length and diameter is put on the fluff face. A resin molded material containing fluffs under the natural state is formed by filling cold hardening buried resin 5 in flask 4 and hardening it, and this resin molded material is taken out and has only cloth part 2 removed by grinding, cutting, dissolution, and so on to form resin sample piece 7 containing fluffs 1. The upper face of this resin sample piece 7 is expanded by a microscope to measure the fluff density.
