Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform an accurate speed control for a motor by connecting a frequency generator to a motor shaft and so controlling the motor that the output period of the generator coincides with a reference value. CONSTITUTION:Speed period signals proportional to the rotating speed of a motor 1 and having different phases are obtained from frequency generators 2, 3, are converted through pulse generators 6, 7 to pulses having the predetermined time duration, and are synthesized by a waveform synthesizer 8. Then, the synthesized pulse signal is compared by a comparator 13 with a reference synchronous signal from a reference signal generator 11, the error signal from the comparator is amplified and applied through a power supply controlling circuit 14 to the motor 1, thereby controlling the power supply to the motor. Thus, the motor 1 is so controlled at its speed that the output periods (frequencies) of the generators 2, 3 connected to the motor shaft become the vicinity of the set value from the generator 11.
