PURPOSE:To provide a conveyor which cools steel pipes prior to reheating down to <=Ar1 point and produces strough and tough steel pipes by providing an immersion type cooler which cools high temperature steel pipes in combination with a carry-out line for steel pipes. CONSTITUTION:An immersion type cooler 23 is disposed in a kick-out device 22 of a steel pipe conveying line from a pipe polisher 21 to a reheating furnace 25, and further conveying rollers 24 are formed up to the furnace 25, thereby constituting a conveyor for a steel pipe 1. The above-mentioned device 23 is constituted, for example, as follows. Namely, plural pieces of roll receiving mechanisms of a two-roll type consisting of two pieces of rolls 3 and a base 4 which support the steel pipe 1 and revolve the same are installed within a water tank 2, and a device 23 which uniformalizes cooling by the stirring effect of cooling water by the revolution of the steel pipe 1 is installed.
